Changes in the names of the Arsenal FC from 1886

Hello, Have you ever wondered how far we have moved to come out with the name Arsenal FC. Sit back and I browse you through the whole journey from 1886 to now.

On 1st December of 1886 in Woolwich the current east London, Arsenal FC was formed by munitions workers. And they named David Danskin as the team captain.
With the presence of the Royal Arsenal complex, they named they club Royal Arsenal FC after the complex a month later.
Plumstead Commons was the first home of the club; though they spent most of their time in the south east London playing on the other side of the Plumstead in Manor Ground. Royal Arsenal won their first trophies in the season 1890-1891.
This trophies were the only ones Arsenal won in south east London.  Royal Arsenal later on become the first Arsenal club to turn professional.
Upon becoming a limited liability company, Royal Arsenal Fc renamed themselves in 1893.  This time round the name changed to Woolwich Arsenal and registered by the football league.
Woolwich Arsenal was the first Southern side member of the Football League.
Started in the Second division and in 1904 they won promotion to the first division.
Due to falling attendances depicted by bankruptcy the club realized a downfall in 1910.
However, by early 1911, businessmen William Hall and Henry Norris became involved with the club and decided to move it somewhere else.
In 1913 soon after the team had been relegated to the second division, Woolwich Arsenal moved to North London with Highbury being their home ground.
!n 1919 they simplified the name of the club from Woolwich Arsenal to The Arsenal FC.
However, despite the fact that The Arsenal finished in the sixth position of the second division, The Football league decided to promote the club to first division underrating their rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
In early 1920 the club dropped ₺The₺ and become Arsenal FC that is known today.
